The Skylark Association is a loose collection of people with a common interest in the Cessna 175, R172, and P172D model aircraft. The Organization was founded by Erik Hoopes in 2005. While the club has been around continuously since then, it has operated in different legal forms depending on what volunteers were available to operate it. Currently due to lack of interest from eligible Volunteers to serve as an officer core, Erik has chosen to run the organization privately to ensure that all of the valuable resources contributed over the years continues to remain available to all who are interested in participating. There is no fiscal accountability to the members for subscription dues other than guaranteed access to the Forum and Gallery during the period of membership and a pledge to answer your phone calls and emails to help you with your ownership or piloting questions to the extent of his knowledge and the knowledge of people whom he has befriended over the years.
